The Directorate-General for Armament and Defence Infrastructures (Portuguese Ministry of Defence) is organising a seminar to publicise work opportunities with the NATO Support Agency (NSPA). The target-audience of the morning session is the national industry, and the afternoon session is for Portuguese individual candidates. This Seminar will take place as part of the 2014 edition of the Sea Forum (Fórum do Mar), on 28 May, starting at 10 am. Participation is free, but online registration is required until 20 May.

28 May, at Exponor (Leça da Palmeira, Portugal)

At the Seminar, both individuals and companies can find work opportunities with the NATO Support Agency (NSPA). This NATO agency, whose goal is to provide support to the weapon systems of the organisation’s Member States and to the nations of the Partnership for Peace programme, is coming to Portugal to present business opportunities to the national industry, as well as the open calls for individual applicants.

Between 10 am and 1.30 pm, the session will be exclusively for companies and/or industry professionals, and its goal is to explain the NSPA’s procurement procedure.

The afternoon session, which will take place between 3 pm and 5 pm, is for individuals who would like to get familiarised with the NSPA application process. This seminar includes a presentation on the agency, on the context of Portugal’s situation and the opportunities and procedures pertaining to individual national applications.

In order to organise the seminar, which will take place on  28 May at Exponor (Leça da Palmeira, Portugal), the Directorate-General for Armament and Defence Infrastructures of the Ministry of Defence is receiving support from INESC TEC, the NSPA, Oceano XXI, the Associação Empresarial de Portugal – AEP (Portuguese Business Association), the Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Luso-luxemburguesa – CCILL (Portugal-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal – AICEP (AICEP Trade & Investment Agency). Participation in the session (the entire session will be in English) is free, but online registration on this link is required until 20 May 2014.
