INESC TEC starts project “Mailing Optimization”
In May, INESC TEC’s Centre for Industrial Engineering and Management (CEGI)* kicked-off project “Mailing Optimization” for SONAE MC, a food retailer from the Sonae Group.
Bernardo Almada-Lobo, João Pedro Pedroso, Hugo Simões and Luís Guimarães, researchers at CGEI will develop an optimisation algorithm in order to allocate coupons during Sonae MC’s periodic promotional mailing.
The “Mailing Optimization” project should be concluded in July.
